I am afraid that you have learned a lesson in Life. It is called "BUYER
BEWARE".

I also bought an Orange car around July of 1997. The buyer touted it as
excellent. He had(I have it now) an appraisal from Bob Hoffman of the
Brickyard valuing the car at $10,000. I looked at the car(I'm a neophyte) and
even I did not see the "Excellent" part. I negotiated it down to $6,500.(
Only cause, it grabbed my attention, those &*&&^%% Doors). I have spent about
$3,000 (New air system including electric compressor, new cylinders, control
board, oiler, solenoids, driver's side window, fan belts, fan, recored
radiator, water pump, outside trim, seat covers and on, and on, and on). So
as you can see, I have a landlocked boat.

Mine is a driver, at least twice a week. so I do not worry about stress
cracks, I worry about reaching point B from Point A and getting back to point
A withouth having to call a Tow Truck or A Fire Department Vehicle. So far
the car has only let me down only once. I have put about 7,000 miles since I
acquired it and would consider myself fortunate if I could get my investment
back if I were dumb enough to sell it. I suggest that you keep the car and as
time allows, fix it to your satisfaction. In the meantime enjoy the attention
that it gets.

I doubt that you have any action against the turkey that sold it to you.
