well gang, maybe I should make myself clear as to what i meant.
from my understanding, the hoses for the hydraulic fluid need to have no air
in them, or very little. My understanding was you had to bleed the system
every once in a while. The pump seems to move the fluid fine, but it doesnt
make any noise and i wonder if something is wrong...
I will have air doors soon. A BIG THANK U to Paul for helping me get this
upgrade =)
By the beginning of march i should have them installed. There's a Bricklin
shop in Chino, CA (yipee!)
the metal d ring for the doors on each side is not installed because then I
would have to crawl in through the rear hatch every time. Worse, the lock for
the rear hatch does not work =(
The wire that gives power to the door latch solenoid needs replacing. I
removed the two panels from inside the door and need to replace it. Gotta
get to that soon so i dont mess up my doors while driving.
the valve we put at the bottom of the cylinder connects to the flare fitting
on the bottom. the other end goes to the tubing. assuming that air pockets
must be removed, we opened the valve (3 way T shaped). the system works like
this...
Tubing / Valve / Cylinder
X
-------------++++To Cylinder
the X is where we have a tube that sucks in fluid from a cup when we raise the
cylinder.
Tomorrow I have very little to do, so I will try replacing that wire for the
latch solenoid.
Ever had this tune in your head? I have...
