Jesus, John, are you really this stupid, or are you just pretending the black
helicopters are taking off, looking for Lotus owners?
The Tiger and the TR-8 are both cars that were sold in the U.S. by their
manufacturers. You know damned good and well that the Kinney car runs as a car
built in excess of the Prepared Category rules, and as such takes a 10% weight
penalty for running in that configuration.
And yes, the Tiger will be in BP. A real Tiger will run at an appropriate
weight for the class, and Kinney's will take a weight penalty for being
prepared
in excess of Section 17. It's not a fairy tale, there's no conspiracy, and
there's nothing wrong with it. You just like stirring up $#!*. As much mud as
you sling at SCCA, I'm amazed that you are permitted to be a member. Why
don't you resurrect NCCSCC so you can run your Lotus at 900 lbs. like it was
when
everything was right with the world in the 60's?
