Interesting indeed.
With all the opportunities to autocross in such a short distance I'm sure it's
difficult for the best of the best to schedule another complete weekend when it
might appear to do nothing to advance their own personal skills. I'd submit
though, teaching is a great way to learn. Each time I've taught at the SRF
Autocross Schools I've taken a lesson or two away, improving my personal
performance.
Perhaps next year we should include in the student criteria that they have
instructed at the SFR Autocross School. The thought is that if the Advanced
School program is successful and produces National Champions the students will
already of demonstrated their willingness to teach others.

Interesting that SFR only has 13 people who are both willing to instruct and
who are considered good enough to instruct in an advanced school...
