my friend's 2.5 year old PT Cruiser busted a connecting rod after 30K miles. dealer wants $4K to fix and refuses to cover under warranty because she doesnt have oil change receipts. she doesnt have the money so she will have to sell the shell if she cant get a break. will a neon motor fit in there? i got a reply on the PT forum that these cars use 1.5 quarts in 3K miles. doesnt that seem a little high for modern, new car? thought a neon racer would know... thanks, -james |
