The insurance coverage for SoloII has changed a number of times in the not too
distant past, leaving members with various (mis)understandings. Here's an
update.

Current insurance info is at
http://www.wisenberg.com/MOTORLINK.htm

The SCCA Participant Accident Insurance Program provides medical expense
coverage for SCCA event participants who are injured during the course of an
Event. The Program provides the medical expense coverage on an excess basis
with the following limits for participants who have SCCA event credentials. In
addition, it provides Accidental Death & Dismemberment coverage and Wage Loss
with the indicated limits.

Coverage Member Non-Member
Medical Coverage $1,000,000 $10,000
Accidental Death $25,000 $5,000
Dismemberment by schedule up to $10,000 $5,000
Loss of Work $100 per wk for 104 wks none
with a 7 day waiting period

Per Pete Lyon with SCCA Risk Managment the credentials required for SoloII are
a signed waiver. This is true for members and non-members. Holding any kind of
SCCA license does not change the coverage amounts. SCCA.ORG is out of
date and will be corrected this year.
