It could be a tire transportation issue, especially for those of us in real,
excuse me, two-seater sports cars. You either need a trailer, or you must
sacrifice bringing a passenger. Or you must drive on your expensive race tires.
I accept whatever the rules are as just playing the game, but I certainly
appreciate this debate and Anthony's letter writing campaign. Good work. This
could make for some interesting changes, and might make autox just a little bit
more cost effective, even when you want to be competitive.

Right, when I started up in SF with VW Cabriolet,
I bought used rims right away at Pik-a-Part -- there
was a huge collection of stock alloy rims, for peanuts.
When I sold the car, I sold the rims separately for the
same amount I had paid...
