It's true that R tires age rapidly. However, don't you think that old,
hard, crappy R tires usually still outperform good, fresh street tires?
I think they do, but that is just based on the _feel_ of the tires.
Maybe they feel faster because of the stiff sidewalls and quick
response, even if the overall traction is not as good? What do you
think?
