When I was racing, I would occaisionally see competitors wrap their
Cannondales around a parking meter or lamp post after a brief off-course
excursion. I believe Cannondale's frame replacement policy for this is about
$400 -- a relative bargain. But in that case, it was a 160-180 lb guy
driving the bike at 30mph into a stationary object. More applied force.
