Friends,
First of all please forgive this mass email. It's not
my style and I hate doing it but circumstances, in
this case, demand it.
This is a good cause for car enthusiasts in California
and it might actually result in some legislation to
get an exhaust noise certification program in our
state and eliminate the many arbitrary and subjective
tickets currently being issued.
SEMA is currently looking for anyone who has been
ticketed for exhaust noise in California. The plan is
to test these cars before the owners see a judge in an
effort to establish that most, in fact, do meet the
state's 95 dB exhaust noise limit.
If you know anyone in this position please send them
my way. I'll hook them up with the appropriate folks
at SEMA and we'll put a stop to this nonsense.
