Pacificare was my HMO. But it took some serious pressure to get them
to approve a medivac flight to the USA and on to Stanford. They wanted
to fly me to an American hospital in Saudi Arabia. My sister - who is
an MD - flew to Kenya to help care for me and to twist Pacificare's arm.
