Uh, no, it's called solo. Purposely distinct from racing.
It's supposed to be way cheaper than racing.
Yes, it's not easy. But wheel-to-wheel is not among its challenges.
And it is one of the safest forms of at-speed motorsport known. The high
level of safety is not only a clearly distinguishing feature, but the aspect
that keeps it cheap -- in no small part by keeping it insurable for people
driving street cars in shirtsleeves and 15-year-old helmets.
