Not really. Some sell out but others don't. Until the internet, nobody knew
how
big a event was and how fast it would fill up.

If it ain't broke....

So?

So why did SCCA start the STS crowd for? Most of the same rules
for the import drag racer. Easily the largest classes around.

So you want somebody work their way up right?

Yeah let's take the largest single motorsports venue and chop it down next
to
nothing. I'm a back marker with a car capable of winning (mutli Pro Solo and
National Tours winner). I can't compete beause I'm not in the top 50%?

Also what do you want? Make National Tours a points event in order to
qualify?
Divisionals nowdays don't bring the best of the best out like they used to
so a
backmarker could run just Divisionals with no big competition and earn more
points to bump out the really good autoxer who can only show up for one NT
and
the finale.

Remember when thinking outside of the box you must also think about the
negatives.
