I considered purchasing a 350Z when the water seals went out on my 93 Rx7
R1's 13B-REW... then i went out and apologized to my car, and paid the
$12,000 to rebuild it (new engine with upgraded water seals, downpipe, new
fuel injection, new ignition system, new Apex-i FCON, rebuilt turbos,
replaced all vacuum hoses, all coolant lines, new tires, wheel alignment,
and new clutch).. cost less than the 350Z and now I basically have a 2003
Rx7 R1 twin-turbo :)

Also just picked up a 98 Dodge Durango with the tow package - can pull
7200 pounds behind it, so if i ever decide to make the Rx7 a Prepared car,
I now have an appropriate tow vehicle.

And now I get to teach my wife how to drive on the Dodge... I'm hoping the
insurance guy will cut me a break and let me NOT name her as an insured on
the Rx7 or it's gonna cost me a fortune having a brand new driver insured
on the Rx7, i'm thinking.
