My solution is an Apple iPod. I can get 2000+ songs on my 10gb model in 
high-quality format, plus it's easy to search, has custom playlists and 
I can take it with me anywhere. If you've never tried one I recommend 
you check it out, they are awesome. I connect mine via a cassette 
adaptor or FM radio transmitter and it sounds fine. I love never 
running out of music, perfect for those long trips to Kansas.

P.S. Yes, you can get iPods for Windows too, they aren't just for Macs 
anymore.
