Mea Culpa! I stand corrected on my correction. As Rick has pointed
out, and a couple of other people have told me privately, there ARE
C-130s that have been used as tankers - especially for refueling
choppers. So I reckon that would HAVE to make them KC-130s!!!! Just
one more configuration for one of the most versatile planes in our
military inventory.
At any rate, I doubt that we'll see any of them in Topeka. But we
should see plenty of KC-135s and Lord knows what else might come and go
from Forbes while we're there.
See ya all next week (and watch the cars - not the planes!!!) 8<{)
