I don't know why they'd be afraid of that. The most commonly available SC kit
for a Miata uses an Eaton M45, which is only good for 8psi tops. The REAL
powerhouses are turbocharged; there's a kit that will give you around 270rwhp
at 12psi.
Now if I were pedaling a Vette, I don't think I'd wanna go up against that!
