To touch up on what Rick said on Saturday's weather,
1st heat was wet, 2nd was really wet, third heat was
wet until the last runs when it started becoming dry
at an exponential rate. Every car that finished
seemed to be a good bit faster than the car before
them throughout the whole heat. The cars that were
2nd drivers in this heat appeared to have a huge
advantage as it was about completely dry about this
time. 4th heat was perfect. As chief of impound I
noticed that most of the top drivers threw away their
tire contingencies by switching from kumho's the first
day to Hoosiers the next.
