The problem with defining "streetable" is that like art, pornography,
music, food, clothing, etc, it is in the eye of the beholder, and
varies WIDELY from person to person. As applied to cars you have to first
define whether you are talking about street LEGAL or street driveable.
Street legal is fairly easy, as all you do is look at the Vehicle code
and enforce it to the letter. Street driveable can't be defined because
it means so many different things to different people

Well in theory a GT2 car is streetable. Atleast until a member of the
law enforcement community sees or hears it.

Streetable. Now, define it for me in black and white terms. Or is it
like pornography in that we all know it when we see it but we just can't
put a good definition to it? Good, as in it'll stand up in a court of
law. Ask Larry Flint about that. ;^)

Basically I'm getting tired of hearing the "S" word used as an excuse
for a rule when there's absolutely no way to define it and it's a highly
subjective term at that.

Sorry for the rant. I'm just curious whether I'm the only one who likes
to see things spelled out in a clear and concise manner with good
reasoning behind it.
