I use the Prestone Long Life stuff.... the orange juice. It's supposed to
last 5y/150k, but I change it every 30k anyways. It probably isn't as
efficient as the green stuff since it lasts longer, but if anyone knows for
sure, let me know.
I have heard Redline water wetter is proven to cool your engine temps down
though. It makes sense since its a surfactant... lets the polar water bond
to the metal better, kinda how non-polar oil does instead of beading up.
For autox use, I think keeping temps down is the main goal, so I'm curious
to know what other people use. I have a cooling fan switch installed on my
car so that I can run my cooling fans with the engine off to help cool the
radiator and blow some air over the engine/brakes.
