The 323GTX came with a 1.6L non-intercooled turbo and that is easily swapped
with the 1.8L GTR engine @ ~220HP, stock.
And yes, the 1.8LV6 can be swapped into this chassis (from the factory in
the MX-3 V6) but realize that the 2.5L V6 (Mazda MX-6/Ford Probe) is
externally virtually identical to the 1.8LV6...
