Simple. The owners spend a couple of more bucks on
their obsolete automobiles and try to make them competitive
in STS, STR, SM, SP, P, or even Mod. Witness the
flood of STx Neon questions lately, and the Type-R
hasn't even officially been classed in DS yet! Nobody
said that every car had to be competitive in it's
respective stock class, and there are options to make
just about any older car competitive outside of the
stock classes.....
