Hahahaha! You can't "run out" someone from a class just because
you disapprove of their car or tires. If someone decides to run a
tire that is *technically* legal but that you happen not to think
is "fair," you have no mechanism by which to get rid of them. If
you
can't get them DSQ'ed, then you can't run them off. That sounds a
lot like Dennis Grant and his SM stuff. You don't get to decide
the rules for a class just because you decided to run there.

cone mashers,", BTW. It's done for bragging rights. "Win on
Sunday, sell on Monday." Where have I heard that before? ;<)

All it takes is for a manufacturer to do a short run of an
existing tire design using a softer compound. The tire won't
drive much differently (if any), it'll just stick better. It
ain't a big deal to do, and it's happened before. What magic has
STS got that will stop it from happening again?
