Was it the event chair that saw you "wiggle" or some other competitior in
another class?  If it was some other competitor and not the event chair then
he (the chair) could not act on something he didn't witness.  If the others
in your class didn't have a problem, or file a protest which would be the
correct (required?) procedure, there shouldn't be a problem.  Maybe the
event chair would like to sweep the entire grid area so tire cleaning
wouldn't be needed.
