The CPR SCCA has a new web address (www.scca-cpr.org). Right now, only
the intro page is up, but the webmaster and webslave are working very
hard on the rest of it (right guys?).
Until then, the most commonly requested pieces of information from the
website are below.
Fall Challenge Schedule
October 8, October 15, and October 22. Attend all three (or any two and
the one that was September 24) and qualify for a series trophy to be
awarded at our annual banquet.
The Annual Banquet
Nov. 11 with cocktail hour at 6, dinner at 7 at the Atherton Hotel in
State College, PA, between College Ave. and Beaver Ave. on Atherton
Street.
Directions to the Fall Challenge
>From US 322, take the bypass around State College. Get off at the Penn
State/Research Park exit (the one used for football traffic). Turn
toward the stadium and campus. At the light at Fox Hollow Road, turn
right and follow this road toward the University Park Airport. Once you
pass the airport, the road will deadend into Rock Road. Turn left, then
take the first right into the Penn State Test Track.
Registration open 9-11, mandatory drivers meeting at 11:15, first car off
11:30. Free pizza. Free commemorative series t-shirts available for
drivers who run all 4 events (a limited number will be available to
purchase for those unable to make all 4 events).
