Your in luck. I feel I am very lucky to be here! 3 clubs within 30min drive.
There is the KC region Scca and another privately held club called Crown in
KC. And of course the Kansas Region, host of Nationals. The Kansas region is
the best run club, but don't have alot of site selections. They have about 4
sites to pick from, 3 of them being concrete, however the most frequented of
the three is really small. KC and Crown have better site selections but
could learn a thing or three from KS. Our division has been having 4
divisionals every year for many years. So with all 3 clubs we ussually only
have about 2-3 open weekends a season, which runs from mid March-Oct 31st
for the annual Halloweenie. They are even trying to get one scheduled for
the 1st weekend of November. And if those 2-3 open weekends are just too
much, Salina (home of the highest quality concrete) and Wichita (also a well
executed club) are both under 3 hrs away.
