I agree with Mark. The course change DID add time to the course. You must
also consider how the course changed as a "groove or line" became more
apparent thursday an friday. Plus the amount of rubber laid down as well. I'm
sure the rubber affected certain classes more than others and affected each
tire manufacture differently as well.
In reality, The racing surface on Tuesday was NOTHING like the surface on
Friday. Not to mention air temp, surface temp, humidity, baro pressure,
etc!!!!!!!!! All of these have a noticeable affect on traction and
HP!!!!!!!!
