It looks to me like last year's ESPL "national champion" would have only
been 20th (17th without those damn M3s) in the open class this year. Based
on that I don't feel sorry for her losing the title. Looks like a number of
good ladies in ESP Camaros could have beaten her.
And Jeff, I don't know how you can determine whether Todd Green is or is not
a "National Level" driver. Just because YOU hadn't heard of him before this
year? I hadn't heard of another third year driver before this year, but
look where he is - I'm speaking of Jensen Button.
For what it's worth, I agree that ESP should be reserved for the V8 pony
cars. I'd send the M3, the Eclipse, as well as the BMW 5 and 6 series cars
elsewhere even though I think performance-wise, ESP is a good place.
