Hi
I am now the owner of a rolling blind spot! A Super White GT with 5 speed.
Just fast enough to get me to work every day with a little flash. Too few
miles to see why you guys do so well with it in ES.
Since I cannot yet get a service manual, I was wondering if anyone has found
out how to adjust the clutch. I have to push it all the way to the floor to
get full disengagement. I am not used to this and with the close ratio
gears, I am not shifting as silky smooth as I used to in the ford or CRX.
Second, using the tire pressures listed on the doorjamb, the car feels a bit
reluctant to get off dead center. Fine for running down the highway, but I
was hoping for a little more spirited cornering. Anyone experiment with
higher pressures in the stock tires? Quite an experience going from a kart
and CRX to this LONG wheelbase coupe.
Did anyone else notice that there is no grill - leaving the A/C condenser
coil very vulnerable? Any suggestions before I buy some egg crate or rat
wire to protect it from gravel and road debris?
Suggestions for a trailer hitch source?
It has been just too hot here to really look under the car. Just hoping for
some inspiration, and some rain to put out the forest fires.
