DSMs run 6.5 inch wide wheels. All cheaper aftermarket wheels are 7 inches and
wider.
Related Question:
In 'stock' classes, why do the rules allow many shock and tire choices,
yet limit wheel size to stock?
Wouldn't it be more practical, convenient and in some cases cheaper to allow up
to a particular rim
width in a class?
Wouldn't this be any easy way to even out somewhat competition between cars in
a class...e,g,.
allowing all cars to run up to 6 or 7 inch width (with no big offset) in a
specific class?
(This would also help with ordering/finding autox tires.)
