 ~~~Actually.... you are assuming that the non AWD car has traction problems, 
the only reason that an AWD car will have better 60' times than a non AWD 
version of itself is if the non AWD car has traction problems, if the two 
cars hook up on launch the non AWD car should be first across the line simply 
becuase it is lighter. Basicly, AWD gives you the traction that you really 
need, trust me I know all about that, my wagon can beat faster cars simply 
becuase I can put my 450 flywheel (377 at the tires) HP to the ground and 
alot of the other guys can't
