This will be a strong car in SS.  For a potential downside, I see
that the 385 hp is reached at 6000 rpm (torque peak at 4800 rpm).
Compare that with an L98 engine's torque peak at idle. :-) With the
revised tranny gearing the car will have to run in second gear at
most autoxes.  You may have to drive the ZO6 like an Integra
Type R to get the car to work for autox.  If Chevy had retained
the regular C5 tranny gearing you might have been able to run
most courses in first gear given the ZO6's higher red line.....
