I'm curious if any folks have any guesses about where the 2000 Mustang
Cobra R is likely to go?
With only 300 or so cars being made, I'm sure this isn't going to be a
stock class car.
The remaining question is where in Street Prepared it will be.
BSP?
Assuming the engine makes the 385 HP and torque Ford claims, and
they get the IRS problems that were in the 99 Cobras fixed, I'm hoping
this thing doesn't land in ESP with the lesser ponycar mortals. It's tough
enough having to compete with the vette engines in the Trans AM WS6
and Camaro SS. Adding the 2000 Cobra R (which will cost you 54-70K
*IF* you can get one) into the mix would make it really tough for folks
whose skills don't approach Ames-level.
