I thought it was Cool to however, the difference in performance from
a "Factory Works" current LeMans backup car and a mid-sixties
Cobra is dramatic. Question still remains, should a Factory supported
and Updated car be allowed to run in Amateur Grassroots racing?
Maybe, maybe not.

Well, the fact is that the RSR Greg and Jodi drove in Kansas IS NOT the
LeMans backup car or a Factory supported and updated car, it is Daryl
Havens's extra "toy" that Greg and I built for him to run in N.W. regonal
SCCA GT1 class races, the only thing on it from the American LeMans "Pro"
cars is the front fenders and the doors, they are extra parts off of the
"real" #22 car that was run at Daytona and Sebring, the LeMans backup car you
speak of (not realy a backup car, as it ran the race) is the car that goes by
#23, its a '99 996, water cooled, and makes this car look like a Yugo, I
don't think they will bring that till next year....... =) (just kidding)
