Wow! What a cheap shot! Not to mention you have no idea
that we also have similar turn-outs in AZ Region. We tend
to average about 112 with peaks to 140. The big difference
is that only 40-50% of those entries are in the OPEN classes
stated in the rule book. Clearly most people in this Region
would rather run in something other than the classes given in
the SCCA rule book.
Not to mention that for about two years I personally created
a separate award for VW cars entered that was subsidized with
my person funds for trophies. That effort increased the typical
VW entry list from 2-3 to about 8. Have you ever paid for
trophies to encourage newcomers out of you own pocket? How
dare you be so arrogant as to suggest that we just sit on our hands
down here and bitch!
You may still call me what you may, but I think you owe the AZ Region
members on Team.Net an apology for such demeaning statements!

Hello? Try substituting the word "ANY" for "YOUR" in my statement.
(Since YOU seem to have trouble with any word referring to YOU or
YOUR region). And I am correct that if ANY region does not
offer anything but the SCCA classes they WILL have a problem offering
any other choice to single-car entries. Whether YOUR region does it or
not was not the point, you just went ballastic without pondering
how that statement might apply to others reading this thread....

I guess you have no sense of humor, either....?

Again, another cheap shot based on lack of knowledge (let alone being
inflamatory). My dispute with the SEB occurred about 7 years ago
when I was campaigning for some consideration for those people
campaigning cars that they drive everyday that happen to be modified
like SP, but also have to be emissions legal. Voila! In recent years
a more enlightened SEB finally gives us that is the form of Street Touring!
So, I consider that proves that my side of that dispute indeed had
some basis in sound judgement.
Thanks for your snap judgements......
