3/8 inch may be one thing, 3 to 8 inches quite another!!!!!

Of course, if there were actual speakers in the hole, hey, no problemo. :-)
Comfort and convenience, of course. (and two bolts to remove the speakers
to reach the shock towers?)

oh, shame on me. Good thing I'm in Prepared. Don't have to worry about
speaker holes in the bodywork. Can't hear the stereo anyway.
