The results from the first event of the 1999 BFGoodrich Team T/A SEDiv Solo2
Series, held this past weekend at Atlanta Motor Speedway, are now posted at
the SEDiv Solo2 Series website, linked further below. A big round of
applause is due for our event sponsors; BFGoodrich Team T/A and SF
Motorsports, as well as the Atlanta Region for making this a great event.
The 2nd event of the 1999 BFG Team T/A SEDiv Solo2 Series is scheduled to be
hosted by the Buccaneer Region on June 5 & 6 at Alltel Stadium in downtown
Jacksonville, FL. Unlike the National Tour event at Alltel Stadium last
year, this year the paddock area will be located in the parking lot adjacent
to the event site. General event info and on-line registration is located at
the SEDiv event site.
The assigned car number entry list is not updated from the Atlanta event yet,
but will be updated soon to reflect the Jacksonville event entry list. We
really need a good turnout for the remaining events to help recoup some of
the additional cost of using the AMS site. Again, please try to pre-register
for the event, even if there is a chance you won't make it. There is no
penalty for not making the event, but a late fee of $20 will be assessed for
anyone registering late after Wednesday, June 2. The Buccaneer Region
promises to provide another great SEDiv event and is also planning to provide
lunch on Saturday. Hope everyone can make it.
