The Spec Racer guys are being offered a discount on any new tires bought until
a cure for their similar ailments is found. Those guys are REALLY ticked off
at BFG. BFG is their Spec tire, most guyshave previously use two to three sets
per year, and they are now forced to buy a set almost every weekend. Maybe
that's where the "G-Force" name came from? ;-)

I've used both G-Forces and R-1's, and my experience is that they work very
nearly the same; just that the G-Force is MUCH more fragile and GREATLY
shorter wear life. I still prefer the feel of the BFG tire (to my current
Kumhos), just can't afford a set a month. Once I adjust the suspension for the
Kumhos my opinion on that might change.

Locally in Arizona Kumhos have taken over Stock FTD and top PAX. They are
doing very well in Street Prepared too.
Everyone's experiences will vary, depending on class, car, course design and
surface.
