I wanted to add a few comments to Per's posting that some may find 
interesting.

Pretty cool course from Jeff Cashmore and Darryl Padberg.  Loved the fast 
back slalom and the hard offsets and the neat combination of left-right 
transitions

Being that fast it in three runs is very impressive.  Quite a lot of fun 
racing with the "better talented than-me" drivers like Pat Washburn, Jeff 
Cashmore and Per Schroeder.

The strangest thing about my last run was how frustrated I was and counting 
all the mistakes I made.  I came off that run thinking how lousy it was and 
thinking that I was slower than the previous run.  I thought I had lost about 
0.4 to 0.6 seconds easily.  I had mistakenly thought I heard a 74.295 come 
over the announcement then finding out after coming off course from Jeff that 
it was a 73.295.  After running a couple of 47.0"s prior to that, it made me 
think it was all I could do.  Per's morning run at 73.2 got me thinking that 
I needed a 72.5 roughly to win based on the RTP index.

Pat Washburn driving Jeff's car was also at 47.0 so I considered that to be 
good company.  Pat had been having a tough time making adjustment to Jeff's 
car after experiencing my car the day before.  Pat was impressed with the way 
my car drove and remarked at the Neon similarity.  He found Jeff's car to be 
more unpredictable with the way it was so loose by comparison.

OK so I'll conceed that in the right hands (not mine) the ST has the ability 
to be "competitive" with the GT in ES.  With that in mind I can't 
wholeheartedly  object with conviction the move proposal for the ST to move 
to ES.  Yes I'll whine and moan and groan all day about it too.  I don't like 
the idea of my ST going to ES land but for neat courses like we had today and 
the competition as it was will still get me to run with the fun Cheese heads.
