You'll find that the 1994 and older DSMs tend to be more "raw" than the
95+. The older cars have a bigger turbo, which spools up a bit slower than
the newer ones...but, it also pushes a little more air once it's spooled up.
Being a newbie, I'm still getting used to autocross, but having owned a 91
Talon TSI (for two years, sold it last week), I'll refer you to the mother
of all DSM sites on the Web, http://www.dsm.org. If you click on the link
for "The Auto-X Files" on the right-hand column, you'll find info from
Dennis Grant about his 97 AWD and Farzaan Kassam about his 92 AWD.
Oh, and there's a TON of other good info there about the cars, too.
Incidentally, does anyone know of a source of information anywhere NEAR as
complete as the DSM site for Acura Integras? I replaced my DSM with a 99
GSR last week, and I'm looking to start learning....but I haven't found any
central repository like this for the Integra.
