Thanks for all the feedback on my fast first run/slow (2,3,4) runs problem.
Basically, in each person's own way, just about everybody came up with the fact
that I'm overdriving the course on subsequest runs. But only a few people hit on
what I decided I was doing after I sent the message (amazing what trying to
describe the problem will do to your thought processes!) - I'm trying to improve
the WHOLE course at once. Too much change in too short of time.
Maybe with more experience I MIGHT be able to do this one day, but with my
current experience level, I need to figure out the one corner which I missed the
worse and on my next run hit that one while not messing up the rest of the
course.
This, I think, will be key to some real improvement this year.
