Tire section width

Geez, you'd think I was Linnhoff or something. :-)

Anyway, BFG says that the section width of a tire varies by approximately
0.2 inches for every 0.5 inch change in rim width. Does the section width
of a tire get larger or smaller on a smaller rim?
