Chaps, What's wrong with just giving the stock handbrake a service. That should hold her, apart from the steepest of inclines. Admittedly, you do get problems with the later auto-adjustment type brakes, as they are inclined to over-adjust and bind. However, if working as they should they hold up pretty well.
