After thinking about your idea and the difficulty of the alterations, I
think it might be easier to shorten the drive shaft and add a gear and
tooth locking mechanism on the differential that could be blocked with a
solenoid during operation.
I too would like to hear more about this electric Alpine. Do we have a
competitor for the Ariel Atom conversion, or theTango? Please let us know!
