At one time there was reported to be a custom cut glass rear window made
from a Corvair windshield (you can't trim tempered glass used in side
and back windows). To my knowledge these are unavailable, at least my
search was fruitless.
SS had a very nice plastic version that installed well and looks good.
With care it ought to last, and a LOT lighter than glass would be.
Let me know if you get a source that actually has them available.
