Bill,
Kerosene for the grease, and then steam clean the whole thing. Then
steam clean off the driveway where all the junk settled. The cleaned
(hopefully) surface should be clean enough for the paint to bit to. A
paint called Zero Rust is a pretty good chassis paint that I use for
projects like this. If you want to convert the rust, I'll send you a
link to where to buy it.
