I saw the car at the Portland, OR ABFM last weekend.  Very nice looking,
but 
didn't crawl under it for a really good looksee.  The 1725 engine and
head 
came from a '69 Alpine GT fastback, though - "B 3990......"  Basically
the same, 
except for a likely couple fewer HP due to the narrower intake ports.
