I'm conducting a survey on the Smiths clocks that were fitted to Alpines
and I need everyone's help on this. If you have a clock, please send me
the following information.
1. What is the model number? (EX: CE 2194/09)
2. Are the adjusting knobs on the top or bottom?
3. Are the needles white or red?
4. Were they once white, but painted red?
5. Are the 3 & 9 standing up or laying down?
6. What Series Alpine is this clock in?
7. If you know... Was this clock original, or added by you or someone
else later?
8. Does it work? :-)
My findings will be posted on www.sunbeamalpine.org in the near future.
If anyone has any documentation on Smiths clocks, please let me know.
