According to my engine machinists,  yes you should be concerned.  I'd take them
to Isky and seek their advice - I think it's normal to replace as the faces have
to be hardened up but they may be repairable by a Cam Specialist like Isky

I guess that depends on how old the engine is, how hard it's been used  and how
well it's been looked after.  Mine certainly had obvious wear signs but it was
on its 'last legs' in many ways - block had to be resleeved, cam had to be
rebuilt, all new pistons etc.  What was the general condition of your motor -
compression, oil pressure etc, how many miles has it done?  If you have a high
mileage motor with wear in other places, and you have it stripped down that far,
it would be false economy to reassemble it with old bearings.  New ones aint
that dear compared to the overall cost of a rebuild.
