Snip Snip....

I have begun to strip the vehicle and will shortly have it totally
resprayed, changing it from red to a dark green (British racing green ?)..
respraying is necessary as, apart from the bump, the paint is cracked in a
number of places
While stripped, the panelbeaters will remove the bump and do their
panelbeating thing to remove the bump and fill the hole...... (the bump is
currently only held in with rivets so will be easy to remove... patching a
hole afterwards should be easy as well)
I will also be removing the "suitcase holder" which is fastened to the
bootlid and patching those holes
...........
Thanks to modern technology and digital cameras, I will keep a dairy going
on my web site for everyone's enjoyment (?) and comments
The renovation will, unfortunately, be quite a long winded affair as apart
from the Sunbeam, I have 2 Landrover Defenders which require constant
attention.
And I have also recently acquired a 1968 Jaguar 420 which fortunately is in
great condition so will substitute as my "taking care of my Sunday
afternoon
fetish for driving old British cars" syndrome until the Sunbeam is mobile
again
